Litter Bugs Park & Pavement Clean Up

I just wanted to thank Farrarmere Primary for their support of the Litter Bugs clean-up at Homestead Dam on 18 February. We had a lot of Grade 1 attendance – I think the older learners had other things on their mind.

I just relished in the enthusiasm of the little helpers, racing to get as much litter as possible, proclaiming to their parents, their class mates and the world what they had found. They really got stuck in! I managed to take a few photos of the people I bumped into. We collected around 40 bags, with the help of FPS, Ashton College, a team from Tau Energy Drink and a number of local residents. CMS assisted with taking the bags away.
