As a school we pride ourselves in junior sports development and provide a wide range of mini sports. With the introduction of rugby in 2019, we are excited to announce that our junior rugby players will be a part of Falkie Rugby League (Rip Rugby) in 2020 due to the remarkable interest in this sport. We emphasise mass participation within these age groups as we feel that learning the basics of the game is of key importance at such a young age. Over and above the friendly tournaments we host at Farrarmere Primary School, we take part in as many mini tournaments as our busy school calendar allows. Our young and dynamic staff create an environment where learning is fun and exciting which helps to instil a love for the game.
We consider senior sport at Farrarmere Primary to be one of its key components. Across the board we bring home multiple titles and we are well respected amongst our opposition. We are fortunate at Farrarmere Primary School to be able to field teams in all age groups and in some cases, like netball, swimming and soccer, both A and B teams participate in the school leagues. We are home to numerous tournaments, including the annual Oasis and Invictus Sixes just to name a few. Our committed and passionate coaching staff enable us to harvest the maximum potential out of our athletes, and our children not only excel in the various sporting codes within the school leagues but represent at a district, provincial and sometimes even a national level.
